How it all started...
ROC was planted by Royal Oak Missionary Church, which previously met in the same location. Royal Oak Missionary Church has roots going back to the early 1920's. Beginning in 2015, church leaders had a vision to plant a new church in the existing location. In late 2016, the congregation voted to plant a new church in the fall of September 2017.
Many of the former members of Royal Oak Missionary Church were a part of the core group that launched ROC, along with other people and families who wanted to be a part of the new church which officially launched on September 24th, 2017.

The church is located in downtown Royal Oak one of the most popular spots in the state of Michigan. The Church's mission is to make ROC a center of spiritual growth in downtown Royal Oak. It invites people of all backgrounds into a relationship with Jesus Christ by grace through faith. ROC is family-friendly and focused on reaching today's generation but is open to all ages and backgrounds.
